    ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਹੈ । ਰੁੱਖ  ਇਨਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਮਨੁੱਖੀ  ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਹੋਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੱਥ ਹੈ ।ਰੁੱਖ ਸਾਡੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ  ਹਨ।  ਦਰੱਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਡੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ  ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।ਦਰੱਖਤ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਦੇ । ਦਰੱਖਤ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਫਲ , ਫੁੱਲ , ਦਵਾਈਆਂ , ਕਾਗ਼ਜ਼ , ਲੱਕੜ ਆਦਿ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । 









 ਦਰੱਖਤ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਦਰੱਖਤ ਕਾਰਬਨਡਾਈ ਆਕਸਾਈਡ ਖਿੱਚ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਸੀਜਨ ਛੱਡਦੇ ਹਨ , ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਹੈ ।ਇਹ ਆਕਸੀਜਨ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਜੰਤੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਹੈ । ਦਰੱਖਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਜਾਂ ਹਵਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਹਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ।ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਹੀ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰੱਖਤ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰੱਖਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ  ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ , ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
 ਬੱਚੇ ਦਰੱਖ਼ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਪੀਂਘਾਂ ਝੂਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹਨ । ਰੁੱਖ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਰੁੱਖ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਕਸੀਜਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸਾਡਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਸੰਭਵ  ਹੈ । ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ । ਰੁੱਖ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ , ਪੰਛੀਆਂ  ਅਤੇ ਕੀੜੇ - ਮਕੌੜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਘਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਤ ਹਨ ।ਰੁੱਖ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਜਾਊ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ।  ਰੁੱਖ ਗਰਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਛਾਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਤੇ ਠੰਢੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ । ਬਰਸਾਤ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਨ ਲਈ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ।
 ਰੁੱਖ ਹਵਾ - ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ ਰੱਖਦੇ  ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ । ਉਹ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ।ਬਾਗ ਬਗੀਚੇ ਵੀ ਦਰੱਖਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਗੈਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੇ ।ਦਰੱਖਤ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਦੇ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਡਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡਾ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਦਰੱਖਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ "ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਗੋਲਡ" ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ - ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਸਰੋਤ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਕਸੀਜਨ, ਠੰਢੀ ਹਵਾ , ਫ਼ਲ , ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ , ਦਵਾਈਆਂ , ਪਾਣੀ , ਲੱਕੜ , ਫਰਨੀਚਰ , ਛਾਂ , ਸਾੜਨ ਲਈ ਬਾਲਣ ,ਘਰ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਚਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਉਪਯੋਗੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ।
ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ co2 ਦੀ ਖਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲੇ ਗੈਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦਰੱਖਤ ਲਗਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਵਣ ਉਤਸਵ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।"ਫਸਲ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ" ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਆ ਭਰਿਆ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਖਾਲੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਗਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।  ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ  ਸਾਡੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ।ਉਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ  ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ।
